The 12 Blocks project reinterprets the residential fabric through fragmentation and light. The proposal is composed of a series of volumes that, when decomposed, generate voids, shadows, and interior pathways, inviting a more porous experience of dwelling. Each block corresponds to a distinct module —according to the number of bedrooms— creating a typological diversity that enriches the perception of the whole. The ground floor, open and permeable, houses multipurpose spaces that adapt in scale and function to the needs of the surroundings. A system of vertical cores connects the different levels, weaving continuity between the pieces. The restrained materiality and serene geometry emphasize the purity of form, while solids and voids engage in a dialogue with the shifting light. 12 Blocks seeks to build community through architecture —a balance between unity, diversity, and transparency.
